In the words of the late great William Morris “The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life.” We believe the same can be said for festivals and events that’s why at Rae of Hope Productions we focus on every last detail so our clients and their guests are all kinds of happy when it’s all said and done.
Whether you’re looking to plan that long weekend away family reunion, mount the umpteenth annual event for your town or launch a Brand New festival – we’ll handle every last detail so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy yourself.

When our friends at the South Shore Tourism Cooperative (SSTC) were looking to initiate a Pop-Up Market program for their members we knew the perfect place to launch it AND the perfect time of year for that inaugural event. After creating the logo, handling all member correspondence – we teamed up with the Chester Yacht Club to host the very first ever MORE ON THE SHORE Festival during their world-renowned Chester Race Week. It was exciting to manage all pre-event and on-the-day details, and amidst a very soggy summer we were thrilled to celebrate on a sunshiny Saturday in the Seaside Village complete with live entertainment, balloon artists, face painters and the Nova Scotia’s South Shore’s 1st-Ever SHOWCASE MARKET featuring a great collection of merchants, artisans, creators and tourism teams from Barrington to Peggy’s Cove. MORE ON THE SHORE is now set to be an annual event during Chester Race Week and the plan for the SSTC’s Showcase Market will see them happen quarterly with the next one taking place during their forthcoming Christmas Crawl Festival.

We LOVE CHRISTMAS so were thrilled when the Chester Merchants asked us to manage their 2021 Chester Village Christmas Festival. Three days full of festive fun including the Big Tree Lighting Event with Santa’s Arrival and all the other traditional events like the fun fair and pet parade, plus a new outdoor merry market along Pleasant Street, the Gingerbread Gallery & Contest and Celebration of Trees Charity Event. It takes a village to host a festival this magical so naturally orchestrating all the elements took some solid planning in advance and some stellar skills on site. Beyond the management Rae of Hope created all the design elements, produced the radio campaign and managed the social media side as well including content creation and website management.

Behold…The Swinimer Family Reunion and what a time it was! How lucky we were to curate every aspect of this gathering including venue sourcing in peak season for 55 folks ages eight months to eighty something. After deciding on the legendary White Point Beach Resort came the great fun of programming the three days – with every aspect coming under our management – from arrivals, accommodations and room drops to meal planning, room decor and entertainment, to check out and send off. We loved having a client who trusted us to think of everything and then some!
If you need someone to manage your event or festival – please drop us a line. We’d be so pleased to discuss the opportunity and chat about how to make it the happiest one yet!
